They\u2019ve become such a loved part of the children\u2019s lives. When we\u2019ve had to pause for holidays, both kids <em>and<\/em> parents expressed disappointment. That\u2019s incredibly encouraging for us\u2014it shows just how much these programs are being valued in the communities we serve. We\u2019re especially seeing the impact of blending life skills with academic lessons. These moments are shaping not just the children. They are also shaping their families as a whole. This helps to build confidence, communication, and resilience in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the very best news came recently:\u00a0<strong>Anin is officially finished with her Leukemia treatments. She has received a clean report.<\/strong> After two long years of fighting, this beautiful little girl is now free to simply\u00a0<em>be a kid<\/em>. Her parents no longer carry the weight of wondering how short her life might be. Since then, we\u2019ve had the joy of celebrating with her through pool parties and shared laughter. These are the moments that remind us why we do this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Supporting families in crisis continues to be a core part of our work in Indonesia. Our teams visit the sick\u2014whether at home or in hospitals\u2014bringing prayer, encouragement, and practical help like food and household items. In some moments, we even bring children to visit the elderly\u2014so that stories, wisdom, and love can flow between generations. It\u2019s a gift on both sides. The children learn history, compassion, and gratitude. The elderly feel remembered, cherished, and uplifted by the joy kids naturally bring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is what community looks like. Not big numbers or headlines\u2014but simple, faithful acts of care, one person at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for being part of this.
